Consistent use of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) results in getting the of Deloitte Axia-Award 2008.
Nürnberg, 30th January 2009 – With pride Peter Muhr, President of Bühler Motor GmbH, accepted the Deloitte Axia-Award in the category “Conquer the Present” on 29th January 2009.
Through excellent management, the Franconian manufacturer of electric system solutions for Automotive, Aviation and Industial Applications, was able to win over the critical jury. The judges were particularly impressed by the consistent use of the Balanced Scorecard, which is used in all departments and areas of the to control and manage operations.
Altogether more than 90 medium-sized companies from Bavaria applied for the coveted award. This year the focus of the Axia-Award, given by Deloitte, was enterprise management, with particular emphasis on Controlling and Finance, Human Resources and knowledge management, as well as company viability and sustainability.
The Award is supervised by the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, in particular by Prof. Dr. Anja Tuschke, owner of the chair of strategical enterprise management.
