Certificates

In order to meet all the requirements of our customers and to comply with the increasing demands in the quality, environmental and occupational safety sector, Bühler Motor maintains certifications at all production sites

The awards that Bühler Motor has received in the area of sustainability include in particular:

  • certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 - environmental protection management
  • and DIN EN ISO 45001:2018 - occupational health and safety management system
  • participation in and evaluation by EcoVadis and NQC
  • participation at the "Umwelt- und Klimapakt Bayern" 
  • further certificates that relate in particular to our production sites

RSCI-Audit at our plant in Monheim

On 13.3. and 14.3.2024, an RSCI audit was successfully carried out for the first time at the Monheim plant by DQS (German Association for the Certification of Quality Assurance Systems).

The Responsible Supply Chain Initiative RSCI e.V. was founded by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) with 14 other members from the automotive industry. The aim of the RSCI e.V. is to ensure the high sustainability standards of suppliers in the Automotive sector through independent audits.

CO2 neutral

Since 1.1.2024, our three German locations in Nuremberg, Monheim and Uhldingen-Mühlhofen have been CO2-neutral.

We have received a green gas certificate from KlimaInvest Green Concepts for the climate-friendly offsetting of CO2 emissions and a green electricity certificate for the purchase of green electricity from renewable energy plants that meet the statutory standards. 

At our location in China, we have been able to celebrate our CO2-neutral certification since 1.1.2023.

EcoVadis medal

Buehler Motor was awarded with the EcoVadis bronze medal in November 2023. The award is presented to companies that demonstrate outstanding performance in the areas of environment, ethics, labor and human rights as well as sustainable procurement.

Environmental and Climate Pact of Bavaria: Gold status

In May 2023, Bühler Motor was presented with the Gold Award for its long-standing participation in the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact. The measures launched in the Environmental and Climate Pact include some of the company's activities in the area of sustainable ESG corporate governance.

Further certificates

Bühler Motor is certified to ISO 14001 for environmental management. Also worth mentioning are the ISO 9001 certifications for quality management and 45001 for occupational health and safety management.
